My first long-awaited grandchild - a little girl called Valentina - arrived last month and I wanted something special for her. I chose My First Steiff Teddy Bear as something I hope she will treasure for life. He arrived gift-wrapped in tissue paper in his own little presentation box looking so cute I almost wanted to keep him myself. He is wonderfully soft and beautifully made and stands out among all the other soft toys she had been given. My son and daughter-in-law were thrilled with him so I definitely made the right choice.
